Obituary of Isabel C. Nyberg

Isabel Clara Nyberg Age 85, of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at House of The Dove in Marshfield. In accordance’s with Isabel’s wishes, her family will conduct private services at a later date. Isabel was born October 11, 1929 in Ashland, WI, the daughter of Iver and Catherine (Baszynski) Iverson. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1947. She attended Northland College for 2 years and later graduated from Stout Institute in 1952. She was united in marriage to Clarence L. “Bud” Nyberg on September 22, 1956 in Ashland. Sadly, he passed away November 12, 2014. Isabel worked as a dietitian at Cincinnati General Hospital, the University of Chicago Clinic System and at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Wausau until her retirement. She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Sheila) Nyberg of Marshfield; a granddaughter Monica (Matt) Steiner; two step grandchildren: Caryn and Phillip Ashbeck and one great granddaughter Olivia Steiner along with other relatives and friends. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clarence. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at both Ministry Home Care Hospice and at House of The Dove for the compassion and care given to their mother, Isabel.
