Lucille was born August 18, 1921 on the farm of Charles and Alvina (Luepke) Oelrich, one and a half miles east of the old North Church in the town of Brighton, north of Spencer. Living on a farm she only schooled until the eighth grade. She was known to lug library books home from the school often sharing them with her parents. She earned her GED in 1969. Lucille was united in marriage to Robert F. Pilz on May 25, 1948 and had four sons. They later divorced. Robert passed on November 15, 1979 and Lucille re-married on October 24, 1982 to Edward Sienicki who passed on January 10, 2006. Lucy, as her friends knew her, spent most of her working years as a nurse aide for St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield retiring in 1981. She was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer but also of St. John's Lutheran Church (North Church) of Spencer. Lucy enjoyed reading, gardening and playing cards. She bowled; seemingly forever, finally hanging up her shoes at the age of 89. She loved sports and was a big Milwaukee Brewer fan counting ex-Brewer Sixto Lezcano and former Milwaukee Brave Warren Spahn as her favorites. Lucy also followed the Spencer Rockets where her sons played and her grandson still does. She attended many of her grandchildren's ball games and activities until very recently. She did a fair amount of traveling after her retirement visiting Alaska on three occasions. Lucy is survived by her sons; Jeffrey Pilz of Waupaca, Brian (Deb) Pilz of Sheboygan and Steve (Venita) Pilz of Spencer. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her former husband Robert, her husband Edward, a son Bob, three brothers; Alfred, Vernor and Arnold and four sisters: Arvilla, Hilda, Erma and Dora. Many thanks to the staff at Deerview Meadows in Marshfield and at Atrium Post Acute Center of Marshfield. Also, to the vigilant visitation of Lucy's friend Marsha Martens.
