Obituary of Robert R. Salisbury

Robert R. Salisbury, Age 68, of Marshfield passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. A committal service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Windfall Cemetery in Granton. Robert Robey Salisbury was born April 29, 1947 in Orem, Utah the son of Francis and Lois Salisbury. Robert attended school in Provo, UT. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from July 1964 until July 1967 and from June 1975 until June 1978. Robert was united in marriage to Carole Witt on May 12, 1984. Robert was employed as a truck driver. His hobbies included gardening, yardwork, reading, wood working and traveling. Robert was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. He is survived by his wife Carole of Marshfield; his daughter Tammy (Kenny) Martin and their children Jordan and Brandon Martin all of Marlow, OK, a step son Todd Mitchell of Vesper and his children Marita Mitchell of Stevens Point and Miranda Mitchell of Vesper; three sisters Janice Coates of Highland, UT, Nancy Ohai of Layton, UT and Linda Luepke of Marshfield and one brother Barry (Judy) Ohai of Seattle, WA. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to thank the staff at the House of the Dove for their kind and compassionate care of Robert.
