Vernice J. Beyreis, Age 79, of Marshfield, formerly of Spencer, passed away in the evening on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Her memorial service will be held at 11AM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. David DePaoli will preside. Committal services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Brighton. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday at the church from 9:30AM until time of service.
Vernice was born on June 25, 1936 in Marshfield, the daughter of the late Earl and Bertha (Neumann) Cramer. She was a lifelong resident of Spencer and attended Spencer High School. Vernice was united in marriage to Verlyn Beyreis on August 8, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. Sadly, Verlyn preceded her in death on February 16, 2012.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. Her passion was taking care of her husband and her seven children. Vernice was an amazing homemaker who enjoyed baking, cooking and keeping her house clean. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her six children: Terry (Bonnie) Beyreis of Spencer; Jane (Jim) Krause of Spencer; Alan (Linda) Beyreis of Garrison, ND; Pamela (Mark) Krause of Spencer; Kevin (Sharon) Beyreis of Spencer and Wendy
(fiancé Doug Lyddon) Beyreis of Earlham, Iowa; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, soon to be 5. Vernice is further survived by her sister Claire (Leonard) Hebert of Marshfield; three sisters-in-law: Shirley Nevala of Withee; Joyce Bomback of Willard; and Gayle Zorman of Spencer. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and her special feline companion Crystal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Arvid Cramer, son Keith Beyreis and sister-in-law Phyllis Loos.
