Patricia Ann O’Brien
Age 73, of the Town of Spencer, passed away at her residence on Tuesday evening October 30, 2012 with her loving husband at her bedside and being assisted by Ministry Home Care Hospice.
As requested by both Patricia and her family, her services will take place privately at a later date. Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service is assisting the family.
Patricia was born February 7, 1939 in Marshfield the daughter of the late Edward and Hattie (Engle) Cournoyer. She attended St. John’s Parochial School later graduating from Marshfield High School. She was married on January 10, 1959 to James L. O’Brien at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield. Pat was employed as a operator for General Telephone Company until her retirement in 1995.
She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Spencer.
Her hobbies included reading, sewing, watching TV and gardening.
Survivors include her husband James of the town of Spencer; her children: Roxanne (Kathy Palmquist) O’Brien of Elk River, MN; Erin O’Brien of Wausau; Shawn (Judy) O’Brien of Minneapolis, MN and Kelly (Bryan)Mark of Brooklyn Park, MN; three grandsons; three granddaughters; two great grandaughters; one brother James (Dorothy) Cournoyer of Wausau and one sister Julie (Frank) Manning of IO and many other relatives and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, son Timothy in infancy, one sister Bonnie and two brothers Jerry and Louie.
