Robert C. Ruedinger,
Age 77, of Arpin, passed away Wednesday morning, November 7, 2012 at his home with his wife Joann and daughter Linda at his bedside with assistance from Ministry Home Care Hospice.
Funeral Services will take place at 11AM on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Arpin. Pastor Wendell Springer will officiate. Committal services will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Bob’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday at the church in Arpin from 10AM until time of services. Acting as his pallbearers will be Aubrey Elizabeth, Jonathan Mark, Christopher Michael and Nathan Caleb.
Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Spencer is assisting the family.
Bob was born June 2, 1935 in Oshkosh, son of the late Leo and Evelyn Schneider. He attended grade school in Oshkosh and graduated high school from the Wisconsin Academy in Columbus. Bob continued his schooling achieving the position of Registered Histology Technician. On February 24, 1957 Bob married the former Joann Kasner at Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was employed as a Registered Histology Technician at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He later worked as the same in Portland, OR for 6 months but returned to Saint Joseph’s Hospital and continued there until his retirement.
Robert was a member of the Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Arpin.
Hobbies included his motorcycles, making puzzles, kites, and model airplanes.
He loved making beautiful music by playing both organ and accordion.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Joann of Arpin, his children: Linda Ruedinger of Arpin; Steven (Kimberly) Ruedinger of Watertown; Michael (Donna) Ruedinger of Niles, MI and Glen (Jennifer) of Ruedinger of Buchanan, MI; his grandchildren: Karen (Bryan) Parris; Christopher Ruedinger; Nathan Ruedinger; Joshua Ruedinger; Aubrey Ruedinger; Timothy Ruedinger and Bethaney Ruedinger; one step grandson Jonathon Zimerle; three great grandsons: Andrew, Evan and Caleb. Bob is further survived by two sisters: Shirley (Kenneth) Thyssen of Hortonville and Evelyn (David) Bromwell of New Lisbon along with many other relatives and friends.
His parents preceded him in death.
The family is accepting memorials in Bob’s name for a charity to be determined later.
