Victor R. Schetski
Age 76, of Prentice passed away peacefully Monday, January 28, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends and under the tender care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice.
Life Tributes Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.
A celebration of life is planned for June.
Victor was born May 20, 1936, the son of the late Roman and Mary (Mindock) Schetski. He proudly served his country in the United State Army, during the Korean War from 1954 until 1957. Employment included farming, welding and working as a machinist. His hobbies included polka music, traveling and any project that required working with his hands and helping his friends.
Survivors include his former wife Yoshiko Schetski of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; two daughters: Viola (Donnie) of Medford and Lorry (Tom Tso) Bush of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; a son Steve Schetski of Savannah, Georgia; a sister Rosemary Voss of Fenton, Missouri; two brothers: Joseph (Alice) Schetski of Mosinee and David (Pat) Schetski of St. Charles, Missouri. He is further survived by a special friend Margaret Page of Prentice.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents Roman and Mary (Mindock) Schetski, a son John Joseph Schetski, and two brothers Stanley and Jerome Schetski.
Memorial contributions in honor of Victor may be given to the Flambeau Hospital.
