Clifford Roger Overli, age 83, of Marshfield formerly of British Columbia, Canada, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Stoney River Memory Care in Marshfield.
A memorial will be held in Kamloops, BC later this year.
Cliff was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan in 1932 to Gunder Overli and Clara Klevgaard who were of Norwegian decent. In 1954 Cliff married Louise Sulsback, they divorced in 1994. In 1957 Cliff completed the five year apprenticeship for plumbing in Regina and later added pipefitter qualifications. In 1966 the family moved to Kamloops, BC where he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and gardening. In retirement Cliff took-up the game of golf and wintered in Arizona. In 1997 Cliff married Shirley Burt and they resided in Wisconsin and Arizona, they enjoyed golfing, traveling and camping. Cliff and Shirley divorced in 2015.
He is survived by his three children Michael Overli of Kelowna, BC, Judith (Carlo) Corno of Kamloops, BC and Kathryn Overli of Kamloops, BC and his four grandchildren Anisha, Daniela, Nicola and Ruby.
Cliff was predeceased by his parents Gunder and Clara and brother Donald Overli of Swift Current Saskatchewan.
