Obituary of Anna M. Dahl

Anna M. Dahl (nee Crawford) Age 83, of Abbotsford, passed away on Saturday, June, 11, 2016 at her son’s John Dahl and Daniel and Cynthia Dahl’s residence where she resided for the last three years under the care of John, Daniel, Cynthia and Vanessa Dahl. Her Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Mark Krueger officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home in Spencer. A private committal will take place at a later date. Anna was born on June 26, 1932 to Daniel and Ethel (Peirce) Crawford in Madison. She graduated from Madison East High School. On March 13, 1954, she married Gordon L. Dahl. Together they raised seven children: Steve Dahl of Wausau, John Dahl of Abbotsford, Brian Dahl of Schenectady, NY, Daniel (Cynthia) Dahl of Abbotsford, Laura (Doug) Holton of Oshkosh and Lisa (Lawrence) Flannery of St. Louis, MO. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna spent her years working as a cook at Unity Grade School and Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. In later years she was a truck driver alongside her husband, Gordon. The family wishes to give a special thank you to Jayne Frahmann who cared for Anna during the last two years along with Daniel, John, Cynthia and Vanessa. A special thanks to Chris and Mandy Dahl for their help with the care of their grandmother. Thank you to Johnathon Dahl for bringing his grandma her favorite sweet treats and to Brian Dahl and Lisa Flannery for very faithfully calling their mother every Sunday. She so very much enjoyed the call and conversation. Anna will be deeply missed. Anna is survived by her husband Gordon of Spencer; her children: Steve, John, Brian, Daniel, Laura and Lisa; grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother Daniel Crawford along with other relatives and friends.
