Arnold L. Ellis, 80, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
In keeping with Arnold’s wishes a private committal service will be held at a later date.
Arnold was born on October 11, 1935 to Graydon and Louise (Roth) Ellis in Grant County. Arnold was married to Joyce (nee Thorne) in Owen on November 29, 1953. To the union, two children were born.
Arnold worked at Weyerhaeuser and dairy farmed with his wife in the Arpin area. His hobbies included traveling, RVing and reading. He was a member of the Escapees R.V. Club.
Survivors include his wife Joyce; his children: Guy Ellis of Wausau and Pauling Blakley of Stevens Point; his three grandchildren: Joshua Blakley or Oregon, Daniel Blakley of Neenah and Israel Blakley of Neenah; his two brothers: Dewain Ellis of Marshfield and Harlan Ellis of Cassville. Arnold is further survived by several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents Graydon and Louise Ellis.
