Randall G. "R.J." Johnson of Stratford, passed away on December 7, 2016, after a brave battle with cancer, at his home with family and friends at his side.
A private committal service will be held at a later date.
Randy was born November 27, 1959 to Gordon and Marijean (Hekedesh) Johnson in Marshfield. He was a 1978 graduate of Stratford High School. He worked in the heating, air conditioning and electrical fields and lastly at Stratford Homes in Stratford.
Randy enjoyed restoring antique farm engines, working on tractors for tractor pulling contests, occasionally driving himself. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was always lending a helping hand to others in any way he could.
He is survived by his son Jeremi (Rachel) Johnson and grandson Scott A. Johnson of Medford; his brother Scott R. (Karen) Johnson and his mother of Stratford. He was predeceased by his father.
A special thanks to his special friend Rosie Rogers and her family for the unlimited caring and support.
Randy’s big smile and relentless optimism will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
