Suzanne “Susie” Kluge,

Age 81, of Marshfield, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at House of the Dove in Marshfield under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Albans Ministry Center, 1413 S. Felker Avenue in Marshfield. Deacon Georganne Cusic will officiate. Committal service will take place privately at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday at the church in Marshfield from 10AM until time of service.

Susie was born on June 15, 1935 in Waukesha, the daughter of Edwin and Evelyn (Johnson) Bloor. Susie attended grade school in Delafield and graduated from Waukesha High School.  She was united in marriage to Grant Kluge in Delafield in the chapel at St. John’s Military Academy on June 1, 1957. Together they spent almost 60 wonderful years as both best friends and as husband and wife before his passing on March 19, 2016. Susie and Grant lived in several locations including Delafield, Stevens Point and Plano Illinois before retiring in Minong, WI. Susie and Grant later moved to Marshfield where she was residing.

She was employed at Colorcraft in Stevens Point before her retirement. Susie was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Marshfield. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening, crafts, reading and shopping. Susie was a very kind, caring, loving and giving person who always put others first.

Susie is survived by her children: Raquel “Kelly” (Thomas) Altmann of Marshfield, Phillip (Lisa) Kluge of Slinger and Steven (Denise) Kluge of Hewitt; her eight grandchildren Amanda (Marcus) Malyuk of Marshfield, Brianne (Dan) Hansen of Greenfield, Nathan Kluge of Slinger, Alyssa Kluge of Hewitt and Kayla Kluge of Hewitt, Chris (Becky) Altmann of Marshfield, Jennifer (Jake) Parker of Marshfield and Katie Altmann of Marshfield; her 12 great grandchildren and her special canine companion Molly Sue, along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her brother.

In lieu of flowers contributions are welcomed to a charity to be determined at a later date.
