Obituary of Steve P. Andreske
Steve Andreske
June 12, 1958 - June 12, 2017
Early Monday morning, as first light crossed the horizon on Steve’s 59th birthday, Angels came gently and shared a last soft sigh, lifting his soul to Heaven. The decade long journey with FTD (Frontotemporal Degeneration-a rare brain disease) ended with Steve’s loving wife of 36 years, Lynn (Mroczenski) by his side at House of the Dove.
Daughters Stacy (Cody) Casperson and Amber (Brandon) Fischer along with grandsons Carter, Aiden, Brody, Harrison and Colin had celebrated Grandpa Steve’s birthday with him, a few days before, at their home in Marshfield, WI.
Over the years, Steve spent his career time helping families realize their dream homes in the modular housing industry. He spent his leisure time enjoying camping, working on his home and yard, travel with Lynn, helping family, and especially spending time with his Grandboys. They showed him what life was really about. In more recent years, as the disease took its toll and life became much simpler, collecting rocks, quiet family gatherings, enjoying a York Peppermint Patty, and sitting with Lynn hearing about the memories that make a marriage and life special, made his days enjoyable.
He is further survived by his mother, Donna Mae, and in-laws, Al & Virgie Mroczenski, who held a special place in his life. Also surviving are his sister Cheryl, and brothers Mike, Mark, Scott(Wendy) and Paul, along with all the extended family members, who were dear to Steve.
Steve’s father Ken, sister Diane, and brother-in-law Glen Mroczenski, were part of the “welcome to heaven group” waiting for Steve Monday morning.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held.
Steve’s legacy gift was his brain donation to further research on FTD.
Memorials will be designated to a charity to be determined at a later date.
