Obituary of Loretta A. Krug
Loretta A. “Tina” Krug,
Age 77, of Marshfield formerly Spencer passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the House of The Dove in Marshfield under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice, after a year and a half long battle with cancer.
In keeping with Tina’s wishes and at her request a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately with her family with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Tina will be laid to rest at McMillian Memorial Gardens in Marshfield held privately with her family. The honor of pallbearer will belong to Amanda Kops, Travis Krug, McKenzie and Kyler Bainer.
Tina was born on October 25, 1940 in Medford to Elmer and Rose (Weiler) Brushaber. She graduated in 1958 from Medford High School and married Dale Krug on October 4, 1958. They lived in Spencer for the past 48 years and just recently moved to Marshfield in November.
She enjoyed many years of babysitting, loving and spoiling the children in her care as she did her own grandchildren. Tina was also known for her love of solar lights, outside and inside décor for all the holidays and seasons as well as many various collections, always with a little help from another love…QVC.
Tina was a member of Christ the King Church in Spencer. She always had an upbeat attitude toward life, giving generously, selflessly and without expectation of any return and putting others happiness before her own. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her three children: Laurie (Jim) Doepke of Marshfield, Steve (Zeny) Krug of Fort Atkinson and Patti (Lester) Bainer of Spencer; her daughter-in-law Laurie Krug of Marshfield; her grandchildren: Amanda Kops, Travis Krug, McKenzie and Kyle Bainer and her step grandchildren: Wesley McKinney, Matthew, Jenna and Hailey Krug. Tina is further survived by her siblings: Henry (Marcella) Brushaber, Euguene (Helen) Brushaber, Adeline Stoiber, Roceda Neuman, Donna Brey, Al Gilbertson, Melvin Brushaber and Norine Bahr.
Tina was preceded in death by her mother Rose Gilbertson and her father Elmer Brushaber; stepfather Melvin Gilbertson; son Ron Krug and sisters: Sandra Warzecha, Delores Draeger and Arlene Brandner.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to the family for a charity to be determined.
Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer. Visit www.lifetributesfuneralhome.com to share thoughts and condolences.
