Sandie was born February 23, 1951 in Marshfield, the daughter of Arnold and Muriel (Hopfensperger) Oelrich. She graduated from Spencer High School. While in 7th grade, Sandie met the love of her life and they continued their romance through high school and even became Prom King and Queen of Spencer High School in 1968. On May 16, 1970 David Kilty of Spencer asked his prom queen to be his wife and they were united in marriage at Saint John’s Lutheran Church. Sandie was dedicated to helping others as a health care aide and provided her time and care to those in need.
Her hobbies included sewing, cooking delicious foods, baking cakes, gardening and camping with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and was always willing to help others.
Survivors include her devoted husband David Kilty of Spencer; her mother Muriel Oelrich of Spencer; her children: Patrick (Keresa) Kilty of Stratford, Tricia (Nathaniel) Fullerton of Lake Mills, Joshua (Jennifer) Kilty of Marshfield, Jonah (Renee) Kilty of Marshfield; 11 grandchildren: Macey, Easton and Koehler Kilty, Paris and Milan Fullerton, Abigail, Dehlia, Samantha, Ryann and Kashton Kilty and Jaxon Kilty; two brothers: Roger (Cheri) Oelrich of Whitehall and Doug (Jan) Oelrich of Colby; one sister Michelle and Dan Foth of Marshfield; her mother-in-law Elvira Kilty of Spencer along with many other relatives and friends.
Sandie was preceded in death by her father Arnold Oelrich, father-in-law Robert Kilty; brother Scott Oelrich; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gary (Linda) Kilty; and a sister-in-law Judy Kilty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sandie's name are being accepted by her family for a charity to be determined later.
Sandie will be sadly missed. For those that knew her, she battled cancer for more than 21 years. You might even say she was a miracle woman. The cancer never won, it never beat her.

My Grandma She helps me when I'm sad. She teaches me to cook. She helps me with my homework when I'm really stuck. She takes me out to eat and gives me lots of candy. I'd hate to see her go. She always had a smile, she'd never make me frown. I always knew this day would come but I never thought it would be this soon.- Dehlia Kilty
