Kari Ann Kollmansberger

Age 39, of Marshfield, passed away Friday May 25, 2018 at her residence with husband, sons and family with her at the bedside.

A Celebration of Kari’s Life will be held at 2PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Faith Fellowship Church in Marshfield with Pastor Larry Sheahan officiating.  A private committal service in Brooklawn Memorial Garden will take place a later time.  Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday at the church from 4PM until 7PM and again on Saturday at the church from 11AM until time of services. The honor of pallbearer for Kari belongs to James Ferrett, Brian Wolf, Steve Michaels, Tim Smith, Mike Kollmansberger and Lucas Hebert.

Kari was born August 9, 1978 in Marshfield, the daughter of Robert and Gayle (Miner) Ruckwardt.  After graduating from Pittsville High School she attended Mid-Sate Technical College in Marshfield and attained her Associate Degree in Nursing.  She was employed by Marshfield Medical Center formerly Saint Joseph’s Hospital as a registered nurse in the emergency department where she cared for the sick and injured and those in need of medical care.  On April 22, 2006, she married her best friend Matthew Kollmansberger at Northridge Church in Marshfield.

Survivors include her devoted husband Matthew Kollmansberger and their two sons Isaiah and Caleb all from Marshfield; her parents Robert and Gayle Ruckwardt of Marshfield,  her father-in-law Danny Kollmansberger of Loyal; her grandmother Carol Owens of Abbotsford; her siblings: Tammy (Brian Wolf of Rockford, IL, Deb (Steve) Michaels of Lacrosse, Tracy (Tim Smith) Ruckwardt of New Market, MD, Kelly (James) Ferrett of Madison and Bradley (Heidi) Ruckwardt of Weston; her brother-in-law Mike (Karla) Kollmansberger of Green Bay; her sister-in-law Melissa (Lucas) Hebert of Marshfield; her devoted canine companion “Rocky” along with other nieces, nephews, countless other friends and supporters and all who brought love and support to Kari and her family.

Kari was preceded in death by her brother David and her mother-in-law Linda Kollmansberger.
