Ambrose was born on December 7, 1940 at home in Mosinee, the son of Leo and Theresa (Gburek) Danczyk. He attended Cole Grade School then later Mosinee High School. Starting as early as age 7, Ambrose worked on his parent’s dairy farm and later along with his brother, Louis, owned and operated their dairy farm and in the end passed away on the farm which he had devoted his life to. Along with his farm operation, Ambrose also was employed with the Town of Guenther as a grader operator for the township roads and for Du Bay Cranberry Company.
He was a longtime member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton.
His hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, and watching western movies. He also loved to sing cowboy songs and enjoyed dancing. Though his first love was the farm, a close second love would be his canine companions – Sheppy, Queenie, and Sporty.
