Ambrose was born on December 7, 1940 at home in Mosinee, the son of Leo and Theresa (Gburek) Danczyk.  He attended Cole Grade School then later Mosinee High School.  Starting as early as age 7, Ambrose worked on his parent’s dairy farm and later along with his brother, Louis, owned and operated their dairy farm and in the end passed away on the farm which he had devoted his life to.  Along with his farm operation, Ambrose also was employed with the Town of Guenther as a grader operator for the township roads and for Du Bay Cranberry Company.

He was a longtime member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Knowlton.

His hobbies included deer hunting, fishing, and watching western movies. He also loved to sing cowboy songs and enjoyed dancing. Though his first love was the farm, a close second love would be his canine companions – Sheppy, Queenie, and Sporty.

Survivors include his three brothers: Louis Danczyk of Mosinee, Henry Danczyk of Stevens Point and Herman (Sandra) Danczyk of Marathon City; one sister-in-law Karen Danczyk of Stevens Point; his nieces and nephews: Theresa (Dave) Bucknell, Daniel (Juanita) Danczyk, Shelly (Daniel) Heerts, Christopher (Audra Tompkins) Danczyk and Scott (Tammy Lloyd) Danczyk; his great nieces and great nephews: Isaac and Ben Bucknell, Tony, Danielle, and Michael Danczyk, Seth, Caleb, Joshua, Aaron, Elijah, Micah, John, and Eve Heerts; along with many other friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers: Leonard and Chester, and his two sisters: Antoinette and Gertrude; his grandparents, Stephen and Frances (Ostrowski) Danczyk, Carl and Augustine (Fredock) Gburek, his godparents Joe Danczyk and Ann Rucinski, and many aunts and uncles.

His family extends their appreciation to Ambrose’s angel and caregiver Mary Warden and to Tim and Deann Meis who are members of the Town of Guenther First Responder Squad who came to his aid. Your assistance was greatly appreciated.

His arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.  Visit www.lifetributesfuneralhome.com to share thoughts and condolences.
