Raymond H. Toltzman

Age 95, of Spencer, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Bethel Nursing Home in Viroqua, WI.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spencer. Raymond’s son, Dale, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in the Town of Brighton.

Raymond was born on January 13, 1923 in the Town of Unity to Herman and Elsie Toltzman. On June 5, 1943, Raymond was united in marriage to Blanche Rinehart at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Together, they had three sons. Raymond owned and operated a dairy farm for many years and was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Raymond also enjoyed bowling and traveling.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Blanche; two sons, Dale (Candice) Toltzman of Viroqua and Gregory (Katherine) Toltzman of Portland, OR; 5 grandsons and 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Delmer (Irene) Toltzman of Spencer and Ronald (Doris) Toltzman of Henderson, NV; and sister-in-law, Margaret Toltzman of Milwaukee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Elsie, his brother, Eldred and his son, Terrence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spencer, WI.
