Jeannie: We have so many happy memories of special times spent with you and Bob. All those Jaycee activities when we were so young and crazy. You two were so devoted to community service. Mike emulated your service and I looked up to you but could never measure up. We will be forever grateful to you and Bob for introducing us to winter Mexican vacations starting with Ixtapa in 1980. What a blast. So many Mexican vacation memories together with Bob as our guide and interpreter. He could never resist playing on Judy’s gullibility though. (Humph) .. We have no doubt that Bob is with his Heavenly Father now. He was always a man deeply devoted to his God, his family, his causes, his community, his friends. Even though since retirement we have lost touch with your family we will never forget him and all the good times we have shared with the two of you. You, Beth and David will be in our thoughts and prayers as we establish our new residency in Alamo TX. We will be forever grateful for having the opportunity and know and love Robert Batten.
