We were a tight knit group in grade school and high school just like Debbie said. We did many memorable things together. Infact Louie lived next door to me for a couple of years on Maple St. so we were always with each other. We double dated often and shared many happy memories. Since I live in Fl I don’t get back to The area and also have lost touch with all my first friends. I was saddened by Louie’s death but will always remember her.

Just wanted you to know you're in Shirley's and my thoughts as you go through this difficult time. I know there are no words that can ease the pain of Mary's loss but I could tell she was special and meant the world to you as you.

Mary Lou was a wonderful and caring high school classmate. It was a real pleasure knowing her. Our birthdays are very close to one another.

Mary Lou was one of my best friends in Sacred Heart Grade School and Columbus High along with Sharon O’Reilly and Kathy Schmidt. We went to all the dances and all the games together. We all skipped lunch in High School but saved the money for things that we felt were more important. We spent lunch time dancing in the gym. I gave her the nickname “ Louie” and still think of her as “Louie” whenever I talk to family about my school days. My only regret is that we lost contact with each other. I hope she did not suffer. I feel a great sadness for her family and friends. Still love you “Louie”!
