Obituary of Rose Marie Mayer
Age 93, of Marshfield passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Family and friends are invited to the committal services for Rose at St. George’s Catholic Cemetery, 2901 Sheridan Road, Kenosha, Wisconsin at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
Rose was born on October 28, 1925 in Kenosha, the daughter of John and Walburga (Leinweber) Faulhaber. She was united in marriage to Theodore J. Mayer on June 13, 1947 in Kenosha. Sadly, Theodore passed away on August 3, 1992. She was owner and operator of Modern Sleep or better known as Modern of Marshfield, an upholstery business, for 14 years.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield.
Rose enjoyed reading, working in the garden and cutting the grass.
She is survived by her sister Mary Lou Clelland, her niece Louise Schmitz and her sister-in-law Elda Mayer; all of Kenosha.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents John and Walburga; her husband Theodore and her daughter Christine Theresa Mayer.
