Patricia was born April 29, 1938 in St. Agatha, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Jeanette (Miller) Henhoeffer. She attended St. Agatha Church and School and then a 2-year course at New Hamburg High School. She is the oldest of ten children and worked for local families providing a helping hand when mothers had babies and also tending to the farm chores until her marriage to Henry John (Meiertoberand) Stiemann on May 30, 1959. Her greatest loves were her family and the farm.  Other hobbies included feeding and watching her hummingbirds, orioles, and other birds that gathered on the deck of her home, as well as baking cookies to share with family and friends.

Survivors include her five children: Elizabeth Stangl; Joseph (Susan) Stiemann; Monica (Tom) Kaiser; John Stiemann, and Philip (Sheryl) Stiemann; thirteen grandchildren:  Ann (Eric), Stephanie, Brittany, Matthew, Jacob, Rebecca, Lucas, Daniel (Jenna), Emily, Nathan, Kali, Rachel, and Nicolas; three great-grandchildren:  Yzabelle, Kaulder, and Audrey; her brothers Leonard, Leo and Tim; and her sisters Janice and Paula.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Jeanette; her husband Henry; her brothers Paul, Gerald and Keith; and her sister Mary.

If desired, memorials in Patricia’s name are being accepted by her family for a charity to be determined at a later time.
