When I think back to growing up in Spencer, I have such good memories of certain people and Carol is definitely at the top of the list! She was always happy and smiling and laughing. She had such good energy and was a beautiful soul. It always put a smile on my face when I saw her! Love and prayers to you all.

I grew up with Carol, and my family enjoyed deer hunting with Norm and Grandpa Fravert. Grandpa Fravert was a special person in my life so well as my family. Lots of memories of Carol during those years. She was a good and very special perdon. Sympathy to her family. Isabelle Murphy (Fenhouse)

We have fond memories of Carol with joint church and choir functions when we were in the Colby UMC. Always enjoyed visits with Carol and Norm, too.

Our condolence's to Jane, Julie, Glen and all of Carol's family. What a wonderful lady. Growing up next door to them brings many good memories of both Carol and Norm. Fine neighbors and even better people. Sincerely, Tom and Mary Huber

Seeing the news of Carol's passing made me think back to all the hours I spent in the little Kasper's Shoe and Sporting Goods shop she and Norm operated.
It was a wonderful place to buy a pair of shoes, have a pair of shoes repaired, or buy a rod-and-reel or hunting and fishing license. Most of all, though, it was a place where you could spend a bit of time sharing a laugh or a simple story or two.
I don't remember ever walking out of their place without a smile crossing my mug.
Their business was soles, but their important work was in souls.
