Obituary of Barbara A. Dawley

Barbara A. Dawley, Barbara Dawley, age 76, of Chili, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at House of the Dove in Marshfield. She was born May 6, 1938 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Brown) Davis. She married Robert L. Dawley on November 1, 1957 in Connecticut. Sadly Robert passed away in 1988. Barbara and Robert resided in Connecticut for many years before moving to Wisconsin. Barbara loved her work as a motel manager for Flagship Motel in Groton, Connecticut before retiring. She loved doing crafts including knitting, crocheting, puzzles, drawing, painting, and ceramics. She is lovingly survived by her daughter Theresa (Michael) Post of Chili; granddaughter Erica Bender of Marshfield; and great granddaughter Jenifer Bender of Granton. Barbara is further survived by several nieces and nephews in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, and her brother Frederick “Freddy” Davis.
