Obituary of Patricia Fern Krall

Patricia F. “Pat” Krall, (nee Wiesman) Age 75, died unexpectedly at her home in the Town of Cleveland on Thursday, August 20, 2020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratford with Rev. Sengole Vethanayagam officiating. Following the Mass, Pat will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday at the church in Stratford from 9AM until time of services. The honor of pallbearer belongs to Tom Laessig, Amy Laessig and Aubree Laessig. Patricia Fern Wiesman was born on August 25, 1944 at home in the Township of Cleveland, the daughter of Clare and Fern (Schnelle) Wiesman. She was a 1962 graduate of Stratford High School. She married the love of her life, Morris F. Krall, on August 28, 1965. Together they raised two loving children, Jenny and Jim. She was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory, Weyerhauser, Figi’s, Kann’s Service and Davel’s. She loved planting flowers and vegetables in her gardens and watching birds at her bird feeders. She took pleasure in being outdoors and going for walks. She enjoyed working her mind doing word searches and puzzles and using her skilled hands sewing quilts and creating beautiful artificial floral arrangements along with other crafts for her loved ones. Her greatest gift was spending time with her family. Pat was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratford and a member of the PCCW. She was also a member of the Stratford Snow Runners snowmobile club and a lifetime member of the Edgar Steam Show. She is survived by her loving husband, Morris F. Krall; her daughter, Virginia “Jenny” (Dan) Laessig of Stratford; her son, James “Jim” Krall of Hesperus, CO; her grandson, Thomas “Tom” Laessig; her granddaughter, Amy Laessig and her great-granddaughter, Aubree Mae Laessig. She is further survived by five sisters, Donna (Gordy) Steinke, Sandy (Keith) Weiler, Penny (Kyle) Stevenson, Mary (Kraig) Schwartz and Sally (Bernie) Wenzel and two brothers, Ron (Sue) Wiesman and Fred (Eileen) Wiesman; three sisters-in-law, Nancy Knetter, Mary Guralski and Karen (Mark) Nowack; two brothers-in-law, Marvin (Judy) Krall and Glen (Carol) Krall along with many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clare and Fern; her brother, John Wiesman; her granddaughter, Shannon Nichole Laessig; and brothers-in-law, Bob Knetter, Dave Guralski and Tim Nichols. We are mindful of the on-going challenges coronavirus is presenting and are advising family and friends that FACE MASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for the visitation and funeral.
