One of my fondest memories of Lucille was when our church youth group (St. Peter's Lutheran Church of McMillan) families visited "Memory Lane Farm" on a very cold but sunny afternoon. The warm greeting we received upon arrival by Lucille and Martin along with daughter, Beth (my sister-in-law) and Doug (my youngest brother). We were given a horse drawn wagon ride down through the woods, wrapped in blankets bundled up to our ears. Martin holding the reins, guiding the horses (Rosie and ?) along with Doug, who was in training for doing future wagon rides. When the wagon ride was finished, we arrived back to the warmth of the wood stove heat in the decorated garage, enjoying the hot apple cider, hot chocolate with marshmallows and the many homemade goodies that Lucille had made. The warmth of the apple cider, hot chocolate, wood stove and the goodies provided by Wolf family will never be forgotten. What memories! Don and I feel blessed to have been touched by such a loving, generous and special person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Martin and your family during this very difficult time. May God grant each of you his peace - Lucille may be out of sight, but remains in each of your hearts!!

When I worked in Marshfield at Dr Coopmans office as the receptionist I loved my visits with Lucille. She always had time to chat and fill me in on what was happening with her children.
She could brighten the dreariest day. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
