Jason “Jay” Strooisma
Age 35, of Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his residence.
His family is planning a Celebration of Life for Jason in the near future when family and friends can gather to share their love and memories of Jay. A date and time will be posted to this obituary when available.
Jason Julius Strooisma was born on July 18, 1986, in Madison, WI; the son of Glen and Valary (Bartz) Strooisma. He was employed as a laborer at Mullins Cheese Factory. He enjoyed throwing darts with his friends. Jay was a huge Wisconsin Sports Fan. He liked watching and cheering on the Brewers, the Badgers and the Green Bay Packers. He loved his family and being “Uncle Jay” to his niece and nephew.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Valary of Spencer; his siblings, Benjamin (Andrea) Strooisma of Spencer, Amy (Ralph) Bilski of Willard and Tyler Strooisma of Spencer; his niece, Aubrey and his nephew, Colton along with countless good friends at Bey’s Bar in Marshfield.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Glen; his paternal grandparents; his maternal grandparents and his wingman and best friend, Lucas Olsen.
In lieu of flowers, his family is accepting memorials in Jason’s name for a charity to be determined.
