Sharon A. Morrill
Age 80, of Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Marshfield Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield with Rev. James Weighner officiating. Committal services will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Sharon was born on June 5, 1941 in Milwaukee, the daughter of G. Clifford and Germaine (Schmitt) Blaisdell. She graduated from Columbus High School in Marshfield and later attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oshkosh where she received her associate degree to become a registered nurse. She was employed with the Wausau Visiting Nurses and Marathon County Health Department. On November 7, 1964, she was united in marriage to Charles Morrill in Marshfield.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield.
Sharon loved to be outdoors enjoyed living on the Big Eau Pleine Flowage in a home designed by her and Chuck and there was always time for fishing. She also loved to spend the afternoon on the green honing her putting.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” of Marshfield; her daughter, LeeAnn (special friend, Mike) Beltran of Marshfield; her son, Daniel (LeeAnn) Morrill of Oshkosh; her five grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren and her sister, Barbara (Jerry) Backus of Orlando, FL along with many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather George Christensen and her brother Thomas.
