Obituary of Debbie Kay Free

Debbie K. Free

Age 48, of Christie, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022.    

Her family is inviting relatives and friends to share in their celebration of Debbie’s life to be held at 4 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Mark Krueger officiating. Her service will be live-streamed at the following link: https://youtu.be/CwLT_jppvfs  beginning 15 minutes prior to service start.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 PM until time of services.

Debbie was born on April 14, 1974, in Neillsville, the daughter of Donald Free and Carol Brenner. She graduated from Loyal High School. Debbie attended college at the University of Minnesota attaining her degree in nursing. Always wanting to help and care for people, Debbie enjoyed a career in the medical field working as an EMT, paramedic, and a registered nurse.

Her main interest was traveling. She traveled extensively both stateside and internationally. When not traveling or on some adventure, she enjoyed time with her family, friends and particularly her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her siblings, David (CherryAnn) Free of Loyal, Vicki Free of Las Vegas, NV, Bruce (Micki) Free of Mosinee, Chris Free of Rochester, MN, Connie Chrisien of Wasilla, AK, Scott (Michelle) Schultz of Sparta, Steven (Angela) Brenner of Wausau, Dean (special friend, Lori) Brenner of Marshfield and George (Michelle) Brenner of Greenwood; her sister-in-law, Mindy Free of Marshfield and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Carol; her stepfather, George Brenner, her brother, Kevin Free and numerous aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers and plants, her family is accepting sympathy memorials in Debbie’s name.
