Obituary of Colleen Sue Reis
Colleen Sue Reis (Schafer)
Age 57, of Unity, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 1st, 2022.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Spencer with Rev. Barry Saylor officiating. Colleen will be laid to rest in West Spencer Cemetery in the Town of Sherman. Family and friends are invited to gather at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 4 PM until 7 PM and again at the church on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of services. The honor of pallbearer belongs to her son, Mark Reis, brothers, Tom and Greg Schafer, brother-in-law, Daniel Reis and sons-in-law, Daniel Krause and Jeffrey Komay.
Born March 23rd, 1965 to Roland and Marlene (Keyes) Schafer in Neenah, WI. She attended and graduated from Spencer High School in 1983. She married Andrew Reis on July 8th, 1983 at Christ the King in Spencer, WI and together had seven children. One of Colleen’s greatest achievements was seeing all her children graduate high school and earn college degrees. Colleen’s heart was her home and her family. She loved family get-togethers and playing cards.
Colleen is survived by her husband of 39 years, Andrew Reis, children: Stephanie Jo Reis, Sarah (Dan) Krause, Beth (Jeffrey) Komay, Mark Reis, Anne Marie Reis, Nicole Reis, and Stacy Reis, and her three grandchildren: Kolten Gregurich, Lily Krause, and Isaiah Komay. She is further survived by her siblings: Tom (Deb) Schafer, Tammy (Tom) Hanson, Lorrie Krokstrom, Shelly (Ken) Thieme, Greg (Sommer) Schafer, and many nieces and nephews.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents Roland and Marlene (Keyes) Schafer.
