Obituary of Mary Ann Peskie
Mary Ann Peskie 1947-2023
Age 75, of Marshfield passed away surround by her loved ones on Monday, January 9, 2023 at her home under the care of St. Croix Hospice of Marshfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield with Rev. Douglas Robertson officiating. A private committal service will be held by family at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Saturday for a time of visitation from 9:30 AM until time of services.
Mary Ann was born to Felix and Ruth (Schisel) Frisch on April 24, 1947 in Antigo. She attended St. Mary’s Parochial School before graduating from Rhinelander Senior High School. After graduation, she moved to Stevens Point and was united in marriage with James Peskie on February 11, 1967 in Plover. They later moved to Marshfield. She was employed as a physical therapy assistant in the Rehabilitation Services at the former St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield.
Mary Ann enjoyed many hobbies including camping and fishing at Star Lake. She loved to tend to her flowers and spend time baking in her kitchen, especially chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed every moment of spending time with her grandkids.
Those who will cherish her memory include her loving husband, James; her sons, Bob (Heidi) Peskie and Jamie (Jennifer) Peskie, both of Marshfield; her grandchildren, Breanna, Taylor, Samantha and Shannon Peskie; her siblings: Gloria Smith of Rhinelander, Donna (Dennis) Laddusire of Florida, Richard Frisch of Almond, Theresa (Ron) Ryskoski of Stevens Point, Nancy (Eric) Anderson of Wisconsin Rapids, Sugar (Keith) Rutta of Stevens Point, Debbie Frisch of Stevens Point, Randy (Kathy) Frisch of Rhinelander along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Ruth Frisch and her brother, Alvin Frisch.

The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice Team for the great care of Mary Ann and the comfort provided to the family, especially nurse, Breanna Schuld.
