Janet J. Williams 1928-2023

Age 95, of Marshfield, passed away early Friday morning, March 31, 2023 at Wells Nature View under the care of ProMedica Hospice.

Committal services will be held privately by family at a later date.

Janet was born to Albert and Julia (Mackovit) Wagner on January 22, 1928 in Curtiss. She attended school in Curtiss. From 1947-1953, she was married to Norbert Garczynski. In 1957, she was united in marriage to Clifford Williams. Sadly, he passed away in 1993. She was homemaker and raised five children. She also worked as a cook at various restaurants in the Medford area.

She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in the Town of Holway, Medford.

Janet enjoyed cooking and working in her garden. She loved to go bowling and work on crafts and ceramics. She loved getting together and playing cards with family and friends.

Those who will cherish her memory are her children: Joan (Don) Trzinski, Cliffy (Joanne) Garczynski, Donna (Jim Rogney) Hilber, Lee (Pauline) Williams and Lynn (Roberta) Williams; her grandchildren: Carrie Garczynski, Cole Garczynski, Kim Wojcik, Travis Trzinski, Mike Hilber, Jake Hilber, Michael Williams, Jessica Williams, Nicole Williams, David Williams, Mike Rogney, Kristin Kruger and Mathew Williams and her great-grandchildren: Christian, Sophia, Jack, Will, Warson, Dani, Aubry, Lucy, Kennedy, Waren, Colett, Quinn and Remi. She is further survived by her sister, Sharon (Jim) Geiger of Medford; her brother, Lloyd Wagner of Milwaukee and her sister-in-law, Myrtle Kubica of Antioch, IL other with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford Williams; her siblings, Duane, Shirley, Donna and Betty Wagner; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Bernadine Williams, Harold and Edna Williams, Bill and Mildred Olson, Rudy Kubica, Elaine Wagner; son-in-law, Rick Hilber and grandson, Corey Hilber.

If desired, memorials in Janet’s name can be given to a charity or any act of kindness.
