Obituary of Jane Marie Krause
Jane M. Krause, 68, Stratford, Wisc., passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 in Stratford.
Per Jane’s wishes, the family will have a celebration to honor her life privately at a later date.
Jane was born to Leonard and Alice (Neumann) Krause on December 2, 1954 in Marshfield. She attended school in Spencer. She enjoyed watching football, late night fires with friends and family and walking down the Stratford Heritage trails. She was a strong woman with a love for animals on the farm and FFA. Jane worked various jobs until her retirement from Marathon Cheese.
Jane is survived by the love of her life, Danny “Bama” Steiner. Jane and Bama enjoyed traveling to many Nascar races along with many local dirt track racing. They also attended many demo derby and tractor pull events to watch her sons and grandsons compete.
She is further survived by her two sons, Scott (Sara) Krause of Stratford and Tom (Danielle) Krause of Stratford; her grandchildren, Logan Dennison of Spanish Fork, Utah, Cameron Krause of Stratford and Jaden and Drake Krause of Stratford. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Krause; her sisters, Betty Krause, Mary Jackson and Bonnie Domine along with many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Alice Krause; brother, Melvin Krause and sisters, Ellen and Shirley Krause.
