Obituary of Luella M. Larson

Luella Mae Larson Age 91, of Marshfield, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Golden Living Three Oaks in Marshfield, Wisconsin. A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Monday, October 13, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney Park, IL. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens from 1PM until time of services. Luella was born on September 8, 1923 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Charles and Alice (Engebretson) Keitch. She graduated from Beloit High School. Luella was united in marriage to Donald Larson on April 25, 1943. Donald and Luella celebrated 49 years of marriage together. Sadly Donald passed away in 1993. She was a dedicated homemaker to her husband and two children. Luella was a member of Alpine Lutheran Church in Rockford, Illinois. Hobbies included an avid golfer sometimes seven days a week, league bowler, reading, cards, lawn work, gardening and feeding squirrels and birds. Luella is survived by her two children Suzanne (Lee) Seagren of Blair, WI. and Charles (Josephine) Larson of Rockford, IL.; five grandchildren: Nicole (Scott) Duda of Marshfield, WI.; Shelly Seagren of Chili, WI.; John (Aarica) Seagren of Spencer, WI.; Kim (Matt) Marsili of Rockford, IL. and Jennifer Larson of Rockford, IL. She is further survived by nine great grandchildren: Alexis, Brianna, Ezra and Hezekiah Duda; Alexander “Zander” and Mariah Seagren; Anna and Abagail Marsili and Vincenijo Larsen. Luella was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents Charles and Alice, two brothers William and Charles and one sister Ruby.
