Obituary of Daniel Joseph Trunkel
Daniel J. Trunkel, 62, Willard, passed away with his wife by his side on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Immanuel U.C.C. West Side Cemetery, Greenwood, with Pastor Asafa Rajaofera officiating.
Daniel J. Trunkel was born on Oct. 17, 1960 in Marshfield to Sophie (nee Gosar) and John F. Trunkel. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1978. He married Crystal J. Horn on June 14, 1997 at Immanuel U.C.C. Dan was employed at North Hendren Dairy driving milk truck and also worked at Greenwood Co-Op and Joe’s Refrigeration. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and his UTV.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Crystal. He is further survived by his brothers, John Trunkel and Robert (JoAnn) Trunkel; his sister, Kathy (Dale) Severson and sister-in-law, Sarah Trunkel along with many nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Sophie Trunkel; his in-laws, Lloyd and Jane Horn; his elder sister, Judith Andreason; his brother, Jacob Trunkel and sister-in-law, Carol Trunkel.
