Obituary of Todd James Diers
Please share a memory of Todd to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Todd J. Diers died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at his home in Stratford.
Todd was born on December 5, 1964, in Marshfield, WI, to James and Patricia Carter-Diers. Todd attended many different schools, like his brother and sisters, in various towns while growing up. He had grade school and junior high friends in Marshfield, Sheboygan, and Spencer. Todd attended Plymouth High School before starting his long work career. While in high school, Todd worked and lived at the Drewery Farm. His experiences there guided his work future.
Todd moved to Florida after high school. There he worked at various jobs, including concrete work, building restoration, road construction and other building trades. In 2012, Todd returned to Wisconsin to be closer to family. He was happy to be back and live near his father. Todd worked at A & B Process Systems in Stratford for many years, he made many friends there and in the community. Most recently, he was employed by Process Solutions and Equipment in Marshfield. Todd became an artist with the laser cutter, making many signs and stainless steel items in his spare time.
Todd loved life in the fast lane. He raced Dwarf and Outlaw cars in Florida and was very proud to show his victory photos. His Harley and the time spent riding it were his passions up here. Todd also became quite a farmer, raising chickens and pigs in Stratford.
Todd was a skilled mechanic, and it seemed he could figure out a way to fix most things. For those who knew Todd, he was always willing to help. Most of the time, it wasn’t necessary to ask him, he just jumped in.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Carter-Diers of AZ; his siblings, Pamela (John) Niehaus of Hewitt and Stephen (Keely Phippen) of Sheboygan; his nieces and nephews: Colleen, Patrick, Bailey, Cooper and Greta; and his partner, Julie Studt, along with other relatives, co-workers and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father James and sister Kimberly.
A time of gathering in remembrance of Todd will be posted as it becomes available.
