Obituary of Robert William Dahlke
Robert “Bobby” William Dahlke, Age 88, of Mosinee (Halder) passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023.
Robert was born July 14, 1935, in Town of Emmet to the late Victor and Johanna (Berg) Dahlke. He attended St. Robert’s Catholic School in Halder and graduated from Mosinee High School in 1953. Robert served in the Marine Corp from 1956-1958. He was stationed in Okinawa, San Francisco, San Diego, Great Lakes, Illinois. He was also a sharpshooter.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Halder. He was lector, usher and sang in the choir. He was a full-time dairy farmer in Halder, his home place. He used to play baseball in Halder and enjoyed playing Cribbage with his wife, Judy. He was part-time delivering fuel oil and gas for A Farmers Union and part-time delivering propane gas in Wausau and Stratford.
On June 11, 1966, Robert married Judy Myszka at Holy Family Catholic Church in Poniatowski. They have four children, Paul E. Dahlke, Louise (Robert) Paskey, Janine (Michael) Edwin and Peter J. Dahlke; four grandchildren, Austin Paskey, Emma Paskey, Anna Paskey and Olivia Paskey. In addition, he is survived by Richard (Mary) Dahlke, Donald (Shirley) Dahlke and Mary (Terry) Bloom.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Dahlke.
A private memorial service is pending at a later date.
