My thoughts and prayers to the family. I have know George my whole life. Our parents were friends and i was even his sisters flower girl when Judy got married.. George was my favorite grown up. I would follow him around everywhere. I Still have a doll he gave me for christmas back in 1965. I named her Georgey Girl... He was a wonderful person and will be missed very much. My heart is sad learning of this. Prayers to all of the kids. I remember all of them when they were born but haven't seen in years.Him and my grandpa were very thought of Marines and remember all the stories they would sit and tell about WWll and Vietnam. I remember him coming out to the farm hunting and fishing with Dad Vernon and him.R.I.P George you were very loved and will be missed deeply.
Semper FI Marine. I hope you and grandpa can tell Marine stories up in heaven.

To George's Family, I will miss George so much. He was John's best friend for a very long time! I remember the first time I met him was when John took me to a buckskinning camp. In addition, he was like a grandpa and role model for Katie. She was always fascinated by his stories and wants to follow in his footsteps by joining the marines when she is older. My condolences to Barb, Mike and Tami! George will forever be missed by me and all of my family. Love to you all!
