My sympathy goes out to all of Betty's family. Betty was a beautiful lady who always seemed to have a smile. My parents, Don and Margaret, were neighboring farmers who spent many evenings getting together with Jim and Betty to play cards. While they played cards all of us kids would play outside games, even if it was dark, and there was always a lunch after the games. Before we could get together the farm chores had to be done and the cows had to be milked. Seems we always managed to work faster on those days. Betty was very special to me. She always made me feel loved. She accepted the invitation to be my Confirmation Sponsor and I couldn't have asked for a better role model. I am grateful that God made it possible for her to be a part of my life. May she rest in peach as she enters the gates of heaven.

I well recall memories of growing up on a farm in Milladore and getting so excited in my childhood years to visit our farming neighbors, Jim and Betty Lang. They were such good country neighbors and provided happy times growing up. I remember how much Jim and Betty enjoyed playing card games with my mom and dad, Don and Margaret. I also remember how Betty and my mom took care of one another after losing their husbands. It was so nice to see how friends look after one another and are there for each other when in need. I was so blessed to visit with Betty in July of 2021, when I was able to be in the area to enjoy our Mancl Family Reunion. Betty shared with me so many happy memories of our families sharing time together. I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to all of her children and their families. You can be assured she is with the Lord and left a beautiful legacy of faith and good works. God's peace to you.
